A CD you might check out is Chicago Black Small Bands, on the Acrobat label. Most/all of it is Charleston-type stuff, but there are some little-known groups (J.C. Cobb and His Grains of Corn). There's also a rather odd Louis Armstrong-Earl Hines duet, "Weather Bird."
