Any tips for an Autumn special lindy hop playlist?
Re: Autumn playlist
It seems too general a theme (compared with, say, Halloween or Christmas).Pieter wrote:Any tips for an Autumn special lindy hop playlist?
Re: Autumn playlist
Artie Shaw, "Don't FALL Asleep"--hahahaha! O.K. Right.
All the songs with "Autumn" in the title are slow ballad types: "Autumn Leaves", "Autumn in New York", "'tis Autumn", ... "September Song" is very slow, too.
"September in the Rain" might work (there are many recordings).
"Indian Summer" (the Goodman 1958 recording, maybe, or the Bechet 1940 one).
Sorry, can't think of very many things right now. :(

Hahahaha!
Apologies for my Northern Hemisphere bias. Well, that just opens up additional autumn songs! "April in Perth", for instance.
