Fallout 3 soundtrack
I've been playing fallout 3 and whenever I'm in range I tune it to Galaxy Radio. There is one song that they play that I like a lot. It is Boogie Man By Sid Phillips. Problem is that I can't find it in the U.S. Is it available in Europe?
Yard work sucks. I would much rather dj.
I've done a little bit of digging:
Go here http://www.apmmusic.com/myapm/main.php and search for it - you'll find the same song with a whole bunch of catalogue numbers. It notes that the composer was Sid Phillips, so there's doubt if he actually recorded it. This is what's in the notes:
Library: KPM
Track Title: Boogie Man
CD#: KPM 224, #43
Track Description: Dance Band - Catchy clarinet feature (Archive recording) (LC02061)
Composers: Phillips, Sid (PRS) (C)
Publisher: KPM APM (ASCAP)

The other day I was trying to explain swing music to a junior high kid (maybe 13) and wasn't able to come up with any examples that he'd heard of. Finally, I asked him...
me: have you played Fallout 3?
him: yeah
me: it's the music on the radio there
him: oooooh... that's weird music

On a side note, I think the soundtrack is available with certain special editions of the game, and I would suspect directly extractable from the pc version.

Well, to his credit, all the selections do have a certain "weird" feeling to them. They really did do a good job on the selections, even though they start getting repetitive WAY to soon.Surreal wrote: him: oooooh... that's weird music
