I can only think of one song that remotely fits that criteria: Basie's version of April in Paris, which has about four false endings. Are there others? There are a few others but I don't know their names. I've only heard them djed off of 78s. There's a Louis Armstrong version of "Volare" ...

This is an awesome album.

The best part is, if you heard the intro to that song, the band shouts "Loose wig!" like 2 or 3 times. It's on the Hampton Proper 4CD Set, I play it every now and then.

As both a DJ and a dancer I'd much prefer 4 DJs at 90-120+ minutes apiece over 8 DJs for 45-60 minutes each. Unfortunately I'm in the minority these days.
