XT seems to be a bit overkill. Have you looked at their middle level product, Disco DJ? (Disco Software has 3 levels of products for DJs: QuePhase, Disco DJ, and Disco XT.) I'm completely with you. I tried out the demos of all three apps, and CuePhase, the cheapest, is the one that I actually like ...

The song is definately "Buddy Bolden Stomp", and Sidney Bechet is probably a good guess, but it's not the Bechet version from 1947 that I have. The one in the clip sounds like a more modern recording and it's also faster.

The Harlem Kiddies track from Mike Thibault sounded just amazing! I'm getting the CD from Denmark right away... Great track! Does anyone know the easiest way of ordering this album? Edit: I used my amazing Google skillz and found an online store that sells it: http://www.timelessjazz.com/shop/produ...

I'll probably get an Xmod because I can buy it with together with my MacBook when I go to the Apple retailer tomorrow. If possible, I might have gotten a Micro because it's so small, cheap, reliable, and still seems to fill my needs in audio quality, but the Micro is nowhere to be found in Europe a...

Hey! Thanks for the heads up on "new" music  The Harlem Kiddies track from Mike Thibault sounded just amazing! I'm getting the CD from Denmark right away... The Hep CD with live instrumental Ella Fitzgerald (post-Webb) has been on my must-buy list since it came out here in Sweden. /J...

Ha! Sorry I should have been more specific. I have the bechet version from the bluenote album.. I heard someone once play a more uptempo version.. Maybe like 180 bpm.. It sounded a little older too.. And at the seattle exchange I heard once again a song that sounded like all that meat and no potato...

Thanks. I have to read it through more carefully next time  It would be good though to be able to do AND, OR, NOT etc, in the same smart playlist, no? Something for the wishlist sent to Apple (together with a request for a preview function and outputs to two soundcards, and then iTunes would b...

For Smart Playlists, I just wish that you could use OR conjunctions. You can do this by selecting: 'Match ANY of the following rules', and if necessary linking one playlist to another Yes, but I can't do BOTH, right? I'd love it if I for example could state that "Genre" contains "Jaz...
