Spectacular! Thanks everyone.

Although I'm a bit skeptical about that being a cover of Diga Diga Doo by The Careless Lovers. They're a local band (to me) and I've never heard them play that...

The third one is Bag's Groove by The Red Holloway Quartet. I can't figure out who the second one is by... it's definitely a version of "I've Found A New Baby"...never heard this one before, though.

Appreciate the help you guys. The CD looks fantastic, however I'm wondering if there's a way to digitally download it instead of buying the hard copy CD. Emusic perhaps?

And yeah, you're right that is the version from Swing Kids. I always get those mixed up.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but there's also "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" (The Careless Lovers version is fantastic)

A good one is "Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives To Me" by Sidney Bechet off the album "The Fabulous Sidney Bechet".

It's nearly 6 minutes long and maintains a solid, upbeat tempo throughout.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Yeah 128kpbs isn't that bad at all. I guess it mostly depends on how old the recording is and the quality of the speakers it's being played through.

That's an interesting test. Huh. Might give it a shot!
I was just playing some of my songs on my surround sound system at home and I could honestly not notice the difference... Although I don't know if that's true for other sound systems at venues.

Do you mean the 1954 recording (from "The Last Recordings") that lasts about 6 minutes and is around 185 bpm? It has a bass solo and a set of drum breaks, so some couples are going to be screwed. (It's a great recording, though. I'd totally play it at a dance.) Yes, it's the '54 recording...

Audio Quality When DJing?

I was wondering, do any of you notice any difference (when dancing or DJing) between 128kbps and higher kbps songs? I have a number of songs that are 128/190kbps and I'm not sure if that will affect the quality of the sound when DJing in general. I was considering "re-buying" some of my tu...

Moppin' And Boppin' by Fats Waller is a great example of the whole intro dilemma. It's a great tune, except that the intro borders on 30-35 seconds... which may seem like forever to newer dancers?

Shame.
