1) What do you feel that live musicians can provide dancers that you, as DJs, cannot? Musicians provide energy. There's no other way around it. DJs can manage a room's energy, maybe shift it a bit but a band can just step it up out of nowhere. Musicians are removed from the intricacies of the dance...

Houston has a fundamental concern in that the cream of their scene - traditionally, the hot performers and dancers - all left about 2 years ago. En masse. That sucked up a lot of energy and spit it out across the country overnight. As a DJ giving advice, however, I would say that Dallas is tradition...
