I've never had any nightmares about DJing or dancing. I've had a couple of good dreams about dancing, though.

I doubt that exposing a scene to better dancers for a weekend makes for better local dancers - unless it's partnered with instruction. I think many scenes are having exchanges because it's cool or it's fun or it's expected of them. Kalman I would slightly disagree. There are many occasions when new...

I was going to say something really snarky, but I won't. Dress up for Y6A, though. Kalman You just couldn't help yourself, could you? :) FWIW, I'm really starting to feel like a broken record in this debate. I guess I really don't see why everyone and their brother feels it's necessary to host an e...

Don't know when this thread was originally started, but I'd like to think and hope that things have changed when it comes to judging a DJ by gender. I know it has certainly changed for me. As I do more traveling, I see a lot more female DJs not only spinning in their local scenes, but being invited ...

"Wake Up Nessie" was one of Serg's favorites upon returning from LindyGras. I loved it. Still do.

Diggin' DJ Tony's show as well.

I agree, very good idea, but I've never done it before. When I've talked to organizers I've usually just passed along email/phone info and done it that way.
