Less extreme than dolphin themed (!), election-themed music? Obvious one is I Swung The Election - Teagarden, and also Vote For Mr Rhythm - Ella or Nikki Yanovsky. That's all I got.

So that we can answer your question as you want, can I clarify :

you want musician and song for one instrument - one example only per instrument?

eg.

Trumpet : Mr X - Something Blues, (track info...eg.. 8/12/1927)
Clarinet : Mr Y - Woodside Swing, 11/5/1933
etc
etc

Yes?

Been listening to the first two discs all day in work. Love the clarity.. Clarinet Marmalade and The Stampede sound better than any version I already have.

Enjoy!

I think the worst request I received recently was for '20s' music at a 'Roaring 20s' art show. I was playing actual 20s stuff (Fess Williams, Hal Kemp, Fletcher Henderson, etc), and I offered to let the person who wouldn't listen plug in for a few songs. He played Glenn Miller and His Army Air Forc...

The tagging for it is transposed between that track (no.20 on the CD) and One O'Clock Jump (track 18) when using the microsoft automated tagging for the CD. At least it did for me anyway.
