I think the most important question hasn't been asked ... does it flow? I mean, what I really want to know is, can I pop in this CD and then head to the bar for a couple of beers? ;)

Commonly Mislabeled Songs

I was thinking about this topic on Yehoodi. So tell me if you've heard track 7 of CD one of this album . What would you identify it as? Most DJs that I've seen with this song have it labeled as "Hard Times" by Ray Charles, so when I went looking for the song, I was surprised that every ver...

Sounds like they need a massive ego adjustment. Instead of "why me" they should have responded positively. Personally, whenever I have a DJ play stuff I wanted to DJ, I look at it as 1) a challenge to find better stuff 2) an opportunity because they were probably spinning in my groove and ...

Shana, I use iTunes to preview/search for tracks (since iTunes has great text search capabilities) and I use WinAMP to output my tracks. Basically, iTunes uses the default sound card (which can be set in your Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio tab area) I typically set that to be the l...

Basically it's looking at the steps it takes to get from your computer to the computer you are pinging. The ordered lines are your steps. The three columns with ms next to them are the time it takes for each of the three pings to get from your computer to that step. The IP address listed next to the...

I think Jesse pegged your situation, Yakov. When I first saw the title of your thread, the thing that I was thinking about was DJs that play "challenging" music. Too often when I see a DJ playing "challenging" music, it's more about the DJ playing the music for themselves or havi...

I've been involved with software design at a number of companies and the one thing that has been consistent among the end users that get involved with the design process is that often requests for complicated functionality end up becoming unused when the software is released. Why? Because they don't...
