The evolution from CD to laptop based DJ-ing is quite obvious to me.

Has anyone noticed any general trends on the type of material being played by the Swing DJs over the years? In particular, I would be more interested in the perspective of DJs who focus mostly on 'classic' material.

Perhaps, a new Swing DJ system should have some smart filters to prevent some DJs to play certain songs, because too lam...

- Subgenre: New Orleans Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, ...

You presumably have been hired by the groom and/or the bride, who are going to be too busy pay pay attention to your set. Thus you should give it a ironic twist with songs such as: :) Am I blue After You've Gone Baby, Won't You Please Come Home? Dinah It Makes No Difference Now Somebody Stole my Gal...

How do you manage to get your SoundCloud playlists into one single file each? Is that Sound Cloud option? Or you first convert your song mix into a single long .wav file, compress it and then upload it?
