[Answered] Dinah, Bing Crosby

OK this one is about 7:00 in. It sounds like "Dinah" but I don't know who does it.

You mean nobody is going to take this free shot? OK, I will. Swing Nazi.

By the way, I'm teaching a Partnered Charleston class and I only use music from the 20's. Everything else is anachronistic.

Louis Armstrong's version of Frankie and Johnny. Worst ever. really? the 1959 one on "satchmo plays king oliver"? it's absurdly slow for lindy, but i like the recording (for other dancing, or for just listening). Yeah I don't think I liked it for dancing lindy. I guess its the slow tempo ...

Interesting point, but that is the first time I have ever heard the AP referred to as an authoritative source for grammar and style usage. Few of us actually "jockey discs" any more, so technically the entire term should be trashed. But try getting people to refer to us as "laptop so...

Louis Armstrong's version of Frankie and Johnny. Worst ever. I love Ella FItzgerald and one of my favorite versions of St Louis Blues comes from the album "In the Groove". That particular disk has two of the more disgusting swing songs I've ever heard: 1) Sing Song Swing (Horrible asian im...

We in the U.S. can not download this album.

Is Andy Kirk's Froggy Bottom jank, swing, or a combination? The song starts out jank and then swings hard.

That Devilin' Tune

Anyone got this? That devilin tune

I'm thinking about getting the whole shebang but the price is the 2X4 between the eyes that I needed to wake me out of my drunken stupor.

Is this worth getting?
