Mills brothers

How about the Mills Brothers? (though sometimes they add a single guitar.) I've got a collection double cd with them but the quality is not very good. Not good enough for me to play at a dance anyway. If you know anywhere I can find better quality Mills Brothers please let me know. And most of thei...

Zoot suit riot

I've actually found one version of Zoot suit riot that I play sometimes. It's an acapella version by Off The Beat.

Acapella

Anyone else who like to dj acapella stuff? I've got some acapella swing that is awesome and I would really like to find some more.
My favourites are definitely The Real Group. Their versions of Splanky and Good bait are great.

Does anybody else find requests to be insulting? I don't mean the insultingly stupid "can you play BBVD/CPD/Brian Setzer" kinds of requests, which are more out of ignorance than malice. I mean the kind of "can you play Such-And-Such by the So-and-So Orchestra?" or "can you ...

ProTools

Of course, if you want the best go get ProTools. It's awsome, but the full version is way too expensive for us regular humans. Radio stations, producers and people like that use it. But for us regular people they have a free version. It can ONLY handle 8 wav-files (or other sound formats) and 48 mid...

Jesse (or other people who run the site), how tough would it be to pipe every message posted (sans avatars and emoticons) to an email list, and set it up so that replies with the same subject get *posted* back into the thread? It seems that could perhaps make everyone happy. Hi Rif Actually it is p...
