Trumbauer's and then Biederbecke's solo on Singin' the Blues.

The entire song is just magic.

I've got a reasonably swinging version from Fletcher Henderson, the album is "Jumpin' Jive!" and it's 3:22. Hey Gina - after Googling this album, the only one I find is one with various artists and ITM performed by Edgar Hayes. The first track is Carribean Clipper. Is this the same album?

Same here. To and from work, the iPod is on random. Then listening all day at work and then at home. It is very rare that I preview anything. I have talked with a couple of other dj's and they don't feel the need to preview either.

I've tried it and I will probably buy one in the near future.
Its main drawback could be that you pay for a lot of features that most DJ:s won't need, but it certainly looks and feels rugged.
$249? ouch.

- Mary Ann, who, if I have interpreted her posts correctly, started with a Micro and thought it ok, but was blown away by the great sound quality of the Xmod, and won't go back to the Micro Actually, I have gone back to using the Turtle Beach usb card. It's small, and is absolutely foolproof. I had...

Dj-1800 just came out with a new beta release - but it's really a pre-beta :?:

But it does integrate iTunes library . . . but it 's not ready for prime time but it is fun to see the changes they have made.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these headphones! I have used them exclusively for the past 8 or 9 years on countless gigs. The are durable and sound amazing. I can't recommend them enough.

We had a dj a while back who was really into dj'ing with vinyl. It was so cool. So he would play a track that was scratchy with lots of pops - the same track that was available remastered on cd without the scratch and pops. I just did not understand the allure. Maybe you don't undertstand it...

I guess I wasn't clear. The beta of version 3 was released to some for testing in 2005. It has been posted on the user forum as 'we'll be releasing the next version of the beta in a couple of days' several times in the past two years. The last update to their site regarding when the beta version wil...

I have used DJ1800 for a couple of years and only had one drop. But to me, one was one too many. But I continue to use it because I haven't found anything (for the price) that is comparable. As far as a new version . . . I don't think you will ever see it. The last time there was an update on their ...

Two other things that the head of our music department shared with me. He said his friend who played in the band told him that whenever there was a drum solo, all members of the band were required to turn and watch with rapt attention. One time, a young man who was new, was trying to find something ...
