If you want to have wider options in regard audio you get a PC. Mac’s having the advantage in this area, is so 4 years ago.

The Echo Indigo DJ sound card is fantastic.
For mobile laptop DJing there is nothing close to it, in regard to its Cost, Size, Ease of use and high quality output.
If you can afford it, get one.

After doing some work in sound reinforcement for the past few months, I would say screw it and just hire the proper recording gear. I will only end up costing a few hundred bucks and you will end up with a professional recording, rather than a half arced recordings.

I've talked about getting rid of Ground loops before. This is a nice little cheap unit. As well as removing the ground loop it converts the signal from unbalanced to balanced.
