In teaching a workshop last weekend in portland, I found it conveinent to use an Apple Airport connected to the sound system and I used Itunes with my Laptop on the floor so that I did not have to run to the Dj booth everytime I wanted to play a song in class. That was a nice little feature of Itune...

I have the MP3 and use the Line Out as the main and the headphones as my monitor. I run the Line Out into a mixer and adjust the volume so that I can 'tweak it' with the sliders in PCDJ (which I use for DJ'ing)

It sounds like we have quite a bit of experience with the 250, what about the 150 or even the 80. At 28lbs, the 150 may be enough. with 150 watts per channel. and you could probably pack it in a plastic case for transport.....

I have been impressed with the Fender systems. i think the one I have seen at events most is the 250. Might be a little large to lug around.

The 150 might work fine I just have not used one yet.
