Jazz Juice - Vols 1 & 2

Hey folks, I've been given some discs to listen to from a friend that are titled: Jazz Juice - Vol 1 Jazz Juice - Vol 2 The only thing is there is now track listing or identifiable markings. Have done some searching on google and allmusic but not turned much up. Has anyone come accross these discs b...

maybe its where I come from but i've never had to worry about the lyrics of the music being played. I've not had anyone come up to me and say anything nor look at me in a strange way. I must confess, I don't usually listen to the lyrics either. Perhaps I should start to, just in case I ever DJ inter...

see this image. It shows the options available and were the "current peak %" is for the track playing. You can either go auto or manual on your replay gain. The clip protection is a beautiful thing also, no more will you hear those gawd aweful ear piercing spikes. http://www.newflavour.com...

I do run a dynamic leveller which helps sort out about 85% of the spikes and also run an anti-clipping tool at the same time. I think this may be the way to go. I've read about this kind of software in regard to automatic equalising in the recording and matering studio. What are you using? hahaa, c...

BTB, I don't think its possible to capture and prevent ALL "shrill" points. Unless of course all of your mp3s/accs/oggs etc have been "levelled" or you are using dynamic/on-the-fly levelling. Lots of the music i have has been recorded at different volumes and rendered digitalling...

I am a mess of a DJ if I am loaded. A few drinks is good, but don't expect any quality after I've gone past the "happy" limit.

Re: DJing Software.

If you have bought DJing software, how are you using it above a program like WinAmp? BTB, winamp sucks ass. mind you some people swear by it. I don't like it one bit. but hey, each to their own. I will add though that I have not looked at winamp recently as I am happy with what I use. As I've said ...

There are a number of commerically available products available for "backing up" DVDs. However, there are also a number of free ones. I've tested about 50 different programs and the one that works the best and has the most amount of options is DVD Shrink. I have used DVDshrink in the past ...

Hey BTB (and others), I thought I'd jump online and share how I manage my music. For me its not a matter of running DUAL drives, however at one point I did do this but found it to be highly inefficient. With Hard Drive space being so cheap these days I am not concerned about keeping "redundant&...

Re: 'Minor Swing' sampled?

I just watched a music video where some gal was singing something about "i'm so hot right now", and it seems they've sampled "Minor Swing". I recognise the riff from the Campus Five version, but I suspect this is not what they've used. Anyone know anything about this? Know of an...
