Just use "Wood Choppers' Ball", it's what Ryan used to create the Jitterbug Stroll.

I don't think it's bad form to play multiple songs from the same Artist and/or album. Sometime I'll even play a block of an artist (2-3 songs); or chase a song with another version that is drasticaly different. I concern myself more with not playing the exact same music night after night--that's not...

Johnny Hodges - The Complete 1941-1954 Small Group Sessions Castel Rock, Hodge Podge, Latino I love Johnny Hodges and I'm finishing up preparing for a tribute this upcoming week. Jeeps Blues is the closest thing Johnny had as a theme song. I have yet to hear a bad version of Johnny playing Jeeps Bl...

Acrobat Label

Does anyone have any knowledge of the Acrobat label, they're out of England? I've come across several at my favorite store, and while the price is right, I don't want to spend money on CD's with crappy sound quality.

Well, if DJing from a laptop is selling out then count me in. I made the transition last month; it's much nicer than the old CD route.

Building on Jesse's 25

To try and provide something productive, rather than Lawrence and my bickering back and forth, I'd like to see how many different versions of the 25 mentioned by Jesse in the "Exchange Top 25" thread. The goal is to provide some ideas for alternatives when it comes to bringing out these wa...

Re: Lindy Exchange Classics - your top 25?

Good to see nothing changes around here.... Ironicaly enough, that is exactly what I was thinking when you were "LOLROTF" at Jesse's list. 8) If you look carefully, my comment was directed at Travis, not Jesse or Jesse's list. If anything it looks more like I was flicking Travis. -Kevin
