"Jazz Heritage" Label?
I recently purchased Ella Fitzgerald's "The Early Years - Part 2" from an Amazon.com private seller. I received the discs (it's a two-disc set) in the mail today and was a little surprised at what I got. These are supposed to be Decca recordings put out by the GRP label (I'm sure you all o...

Re: Lindy Exchange Classics - your top 25?
Baby - I still hear several of these songs played regularly in Seattle, although usually at venues you don't frequent that often. However, I have heard you play O.P's Moten Swing occasionally [part of your limited groove selection ;-) ] Haha. You must be thinking of "Easy Does It". I have...

Re: Lindy Exchange Classics - your top 25?
I'm sure I've missed a bunch of essentials, but these are some of my favorites that have regularly packed the dance floors over the past 5 years: Alright, Okay, You Win - Joe Williams (Swingin' Night At Birdland) Bli-Blip - Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra (Like In Swing City) Blues For Stephanie - Ge...

Repairing scratched/damaged CDs
Yesterday I discovered that one of my favorite discs is damaged causing several songs on the disc to skip.
Anyone have some good methods of repairing damaged CDs? I know there are some products on the market for such a thing but I've never tried them.
Any help would be appreciated.
