Yes, Bunny is a broadcast. From the Panther Room at Hotel Sherman! :)

Pianist Shorty Allen has a single entry in the Jazz discography - a quintet recording issued on Savoy 525. I have never heard it.

That's why I love these little exercises - I learn so much!

Thanks, Haydn - I missed the bit about Lyric Records, a label operated by one Goeff Orr. Its website www.lyriccds.com.au is dead. Do our Australian friends have more info?

Now there are a total of 36 albums available in the Neatwork series of alternative takes in chronological order - wonderful!

Quality-wise, they are a mixed bag. From very poor to very good.

(I've now quit Emusic after close to ten years, so I will not post more in this topic.)

That's a wonderful version of Body and Soul. It has been issued on a Bunny Berigan collection, but it seems that Bunny does not appear on this particular recording (unless it's him saying, "All right, Red"): http://user.tninet.se/~npt755v/bunny4.htm http://www.amazon.com/BUNNY-BERIGAN-ARCH...
