I'm in Australia though, does that make things too awkward?

I've seen a different version of Stage 1: Show up with a CD you've made of your own favourite tracks... press play... go dance.

If you are looing for information on early recording sessions, you may need to pick up something like this: Jazz and Ragtime Records, 1897-1942. Or at least track it down from a library.

C Jam Blues by LCJO never seems to fail to get all dancers up, even if it does get groans by regulars. I've also had success with Hoodle Addle by Ray McKinley and some Cab Calloway - It's catchy, if a little tired, but the regulars will go along with it. 'Minor Swing' sampled?

I just watched a music video where some gal was singing something about "i'm so hot right now", and it seems they've sampled "Minor Swing". I recognise the riff from the Campus Five version, but I suspect this is not what they've used. Anyone know anything about this? Know of any...

I'm fairly new to this DJing thing, but this is how I use i-Tunes: I open two windows: one to search and one as the list of currently playing songs. When I find what i want in the search window I just drag and drop it into the playlist, and arrange on the fly as necessary. I usually prepare a playli...

I have found with the CDs I have of theirs that it's about 50/50. 50% of it is really REALLY awesome, while the other 50% is so-so. This is the way it is with all the CDs of theirs I own, but each one is worth it for the awesome stuff, no doubt. Harrison Thanks, 50/50 is a pretty good ratio for mos...
