I have a great Lester Young comp where he played it with Glenn Hardman and His Hammond Five - 1937-1939 - There are 2 tracks of it on the cd and I forget which one I play - I think that's the same one Rayned mentioned I also like the PeeWee Russell version I have from "Swingin' with Pee Wee." A bit ...

In college (back in the late 80's), I got into loft music of the late 70's-84. It predated house and was far more influenced by vernacular jazz. It kicked ass and the music I loved and listened to tended to cross barriers of race, sexuality, etc. Check out DJs Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan. Some ...

I have an interesting system. I don't organize. I have a quasi-digital memory, so I always remember what songs (and bpm range) are on what cd's. I carry around 200-300 cd's with me to DJ and I just stick them in where there's room. This is fun for me to browse this way. I don't DJ off of compilation...

I also give props to the entire "Sweet and Lowdown" s...

I've used nero on other setups in the past and, like most said, was happy with the options it provided.

P.S. Greg - buy me a drink in Houston and I'll crowbar Roob in the shins for you - we'll split his cd's.
