By the way, when talking about the wonderful clips from ULHS 2005 (wish I had been there), what song did the Silver Shadows dance to? I think it's Frida & Skye, Todd & Naomi, and then there are two more. It somewhat reminds me of the song to which Whitey's do the Big Apple in "Keep Punchin'". /Jona...

There are some nice songs on that Hula Joe CD. You might also try the Makaha Sons. I have this CD:

Good Birthday Jam Songs

I need ideas for new tunes to play during b'day jams. I've been using Basie's "Corner Pocket". It's a nice length at 4'45" but I'm getting bored with it. I recently used "A Girl Named Jack" by City Rhythm Ork which was OK.

What do you all like to spin for b'day jams?
