Numark IDJ for iPods

Sorry if this was posted somewhere else, but I think this deserves its own thread. Now I've gone from not wanting an iPod to wanting TWO.

Neat tune.

I'd love to take credit for it but I'm afraid it's not in my book. Is it possible that Mohan or another DJ played it? I know my stuff very well and I have no idea what song that is.

It may be Mohan's. :?:

You can look at Traktor DJ Studio. It's for both PC and Mac. It has and excellent feature for pitch control as well as tempo control. The two are mutually exclusive (some call it time compression/expansion). As for using it, I only do when I'm teaching a class. Not usually when I'm DJing a gig. - M ...

One thing I do want to say about live music. As much as Shorty Dave and I differ as far as what kind of music we like, iI must say I really respect his hard work and diligence in bringing live music to dancers in the New York are. I also loved the idea of SwingDjs picking up instruments. time for a...

No more DJs spinning swing. Cool. Let’s have live bands for all the dances. Also, let’s have live bands in all the dance classes and workshops. Can we have live bands at exchanges too? No recorded music. Oh, and live bands for all the competitions and live bands for any lindy performances. Hey, I ju...

Here’s my late addition to this Digital DJ stuff… I’ve embraced the laptop DJ thing ever since it’s so much easier to travel with a laptop than 18 books of CDs (also since I saw how effortlessly Matt Riddle in Australia DJs events out there with iTunes and his iPod). Since then I’ve LAME encoded abo...
