But that would be really really hard. Not only would you need to "beat match" a swung rhythm but you'd also need to get the timing right.
I did a lot of Googling last night and came up with nothing but covers. Another project on the to-do list.

Swing Remixed

Back in the day I used to hear an awesome remix of Metallica's Enter Sandman.....NO, NOT THAT one. Not the New Morty cover. *ick* It was a bonafide remix. Vocals and instruments were Metallica, but someone managed to add a swing beat to it. It freakin' rocked! I'm looking for a source on that, but a...

I've been toying with the idea of biting the bullet and picking up a full copy of MixMeister. Anyone in here ever used that live? I'm thinking it looks great for editing and mixing, not so sure about on-the-fly live playback. I'd probably do lots of pre-mixed groupings anyway...

I try to keep this simple. "Neo-Swing" is generally viewed as crappy music among most "Swing DJs," and, aside from a few newbies, the general Lindy community as well. Hence, it's not played often, and when it is it's usually does so in some sort of mocking fashion. Furthermore, ...

The Simplify app is an interesting twist as well. Play songs from iTunes over the internet *through* your iPhone. Works even on 3G as well as WiFi.

uh, I think that's what I'm asking you... You said there's a point where things change....I was wondering what that was... Oh. Ummm.........ok, lemme get back to you on that. I think Rocket 95 is about my fave tempo. Not sure if that is 'mid'-tempo or not. sorry, I'm not familiar with that song. Wh...

So are you saying that, for you, dancing faster than mid-tempo changes the dance from swing dancing to a cardio workout? if so, that's a pity. Can't it be both? with emphasis still on the dancing and having fun part... define 'mid-tempo'.... Regardless, mid-tempo swing represents the median and the...

To me there is a point where things change from dancing to a cardio workout. Sure, you kept up and hit most of the swing-outs on time, but did you really have fun and is it really dancing? Challenging, yes. Not so sure about the 'nice fun time' part. IMHO of course. I've always let the kids take the...
