Best way of catalog all the music...

Hi, I'm Juani, from Buenos Aires...and yeah, I'm a newbie.

I'm trying to find the best way to catalog, put all my stuff in the right place and at the same time keep all the music easy to find in my collection.

What method do you use?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! Yeah, we play the music that way. (I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina) Shanabana is right about "tandas". The only thing is that we play all the song (not 30 seconds) that we are using as a curtain. I'm the Dj of the only night swing dance that we have here, and I play in tandas. Is like...

"Your preferences" vs. "what the people are u

Hi! Here in Buenos Aires, it was all about Rock And Roll, Boogie Woogie, and 50's R&B. About 5 years ago, some of my friends and I started dancing Lindy Hop and playing swing music. Now I'm running the first Lindy Hop night dance in Buenos Aires, where I'm the Dj. Most of the people who comes to...

Trunky Doo

Hi Everybody!

I know that Trunky Doo was originally choreographed to be danced with Erskine Hawkins's "Tuxedo Junction", but I feel that maybe is a little slow to perform with that version...any recommendation about another version or another song?

Thanks!

Some Fox Trot info, please!

Hi Everybody! I'm looking for some information about the origins of Fox-Trot music and dance. I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and here, in the early years of Tango, the Tango Orchestras use to play Tango as well as "milonga", "vals" and "fox-trot". For those who doesn...

Newbie from Buenos Aires, looking for some help...

Hi everybody! I'm Juan Ignacio, a Lindy Hopper and a "DJ wanna be" (laughs) from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm looking for the "Dopey Joe" version that was used on the Jack N' Jill Finals at ALHC 2001. I got the Slim & Slam one but I think that it isn't the same, because is fa...
