I have two pairs that I absolutely LOVE...one is Aiwa Noise Cancelling Headphones, HP-CN5, and these are Supra Aural, meaning that they sit over your ear...the other pair I like is Philips SBC HP170, these are Circumaural and hug your ear, blocking out the sound. I got the Philips one at Target, the...

I believe the song you're looking for is Ella doing Mack the Knife on her birthday in Berlin. The albmu is "Ella Fitzgerald's Birthay Concert", At least it was 15 years ago..... The novelty aspect is great, because she forgets the word to the song, but doesn't stop singing. Dan Baker I be...

I kind of have a theme song. When I was 'establishing' my online presence in 1998 I was looking for a name. My handle was suggested by a good friend of mine, Lindy Greer. Well, for those that remember, "Where's My Gravy" was a song by Steve Lucky. Which I liked at the time I have the albu...

I have never really thought about "Moondance" being a challenge/non-swing song, I used to hear it all the time in Hawaii during the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy/Indigo Swing/Neo-swing stuff days, and I guess I just accepted it as a song people dance to. But you're right, it's technically a non-tra...

hey, it's kennly! just thought i'd pop in and say a few words... i started djing because most of the DJs at a local (college) venue were quite frankly, terrible, and i was tired of dancing to bad music. drew was moving to minnesota, so he wasn't coming out much, and attendance was down because peopl...
