Hey I do that  I think part of the problem that Bob the Builder sees in Melbourne comes from the fact that we are going through a bit of Balboa madness down here at the moment. Alot more dancers are picking it up at the moment so tend to use any opportunity to practice (I think) I'm not a bal-g...

What about rather than swapping cd's you get a whole bunch of dj's together over a weekend. at the beginning of the weekend all names are put in a hat. Who ever's name you pull out you dj your set that weekend with their music.

This is the version that I have with the slower Jive at Five. I play it sometimes as it just makes me wanna dance everytime I hear it. It is a fairly long version (5:20mins) so I don't play it all the time or people look at me funny

I wonder if you have to deal with the same gender issues that we have in American society? I've been chewing on this question for the past couple of weeks and decided that the answer is probably not. The swing scene is relatively new in Australia, there are a few people who have been dancing for ye...

Swing/Jazz books

Just wondering if anyone uses/has used any of the variety of books on swing/jazz music as hunting grounds for new and interesting music and

1. If you did which ones.

2. If you haven't why not
