Hey folks.

I had a major disaster with my HD; most of my really good MP3's are gone. Very sad.

I need to recoup if I can; I checked out KaZaa but found butkus. Ditto WINMX but little luck there. I only ever made headway with Audiogalaxy but they are toast.

Any suggestions?

Hey, the guy has varied tastes.

And for those who bash the guy, send us a picture of your girl. I'll bet that most don't look as good or are as talented as Dita Von Teese.

She used to be a dancer. Maybe it was her idea- to have Lindy in the vid, or something like that.

Check out some 50s R&B- Big Maybelle, Ruth Brown, etc. etc.

Try some of the online radio stations- Live365 has some good ones.

Check out Big Jay McNeely and Earl Bostic, too.

Hey daddy-o, I got this thing licked.

None of my music sucks.

If they bring their own bad music in, I might indulge them if they're polite and they ask me real nice, I'll put it on.

No disco, no hip-hop and no hippie music.

Transferring from 78s to CD

Hey Y'all- I have a bunch of fine old 78s; alot of which have never been digitally remastered and re-released on CD. (One record is actually autographed by Glen Gray!). I know all about the legal ramifications and arguments about copying/burning music- but my dilemma is that while I try not to encou...

Bix Beiderbecke

The man was an effing Genius.

I hit a crowd with "Clementine" (Gene Gulkette) once and they liked it.

Well, it didn't clear the floor, at least.
