Anybody know where I can find that? One of my amigos has it on "lil ol' groovemaker" but I can't find anywhere that has the CD available except for amazon.com which has a $27 import version (a little too much for me). Does anyone know if it's on any others as well?

How does everyone here count BPM on songs? I downloaded a program that has me hit the spacebar on every beat as I listen to it, and it pops out a number, but I discovered that it likes to speed it up (a listed 136 song popped up at 158), so while its good for me to get a basic idea, it's not all tha...

Out here we usually split sets, and I go from 10:30-12:30ish whenever I DJ. Usually the girl who DJs before me insists on closing out with Susie Arioli's version of "Pennies from Heaven" which is nice but puts everyone to sleep (seriously). So as my opener I usually play "Little Shack...

One I've used and liked is Duke's Place (the Ella Version). It's a little shorter (4 mins) but it's still a good one
