Could somebody recommend some John Lee Hooker CDs? I'm looking for some more of his slower stuff for late-night blues. Thanks.

The very first one I owned was his comeback album "The Healer". There's a ton of guest artists on it. Actually I guess it's the ONLY album I owned. And now I don't have it on CD, so on the 'to buy' list it goes.
Only ever caught his earlier stuff on the radio -- i liked it, but I can't recommend a collection per se.

I have The Best of John Lee Hooker 1965 to 1974 and it rules.

It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.
