These are quite scarce and pretty good, especially "One For The Book"

"One For The Book" sounds very familiar, but under another title and from a live broadcast by another band. Anyone know?

Will big bands ever come back?

Parts of it reminded me of "Undecided", but I don't think that's what you meant.Eyeball wrote: "One For The Book" sounds very familiar, but under another title and from a live broadcast by another band. Anyone know?

Right, no. The main line sounds like the same theme as done by another band a few years earlier. I think it was a Coca Cola broadcast...maybe by Woody Herman with 'swirling' piano in evidence at the beginning. Maybe even Lunceford - he did at least one Coca Cola broadcast that has been issued.lipi wrote:Parts of it reminded me of "Undecided", but I don't think that's what you meant.Eyeball wrote: "One For The Book" sounds very familiar, but under another title and from a live broadcast by another band.
