I saw a commercial a couple weeks ago for something you stick (?) around the rim of your CDs to keep them from getting scratched. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of the product and haven't seen the commercial since. This seems like an interesting idea. Anyone know what it is or how it works?

(The commercial featured a hipster hitchiker getting in with a stereotypical truck driver, who's listening to a country CD that keeps skipping; the kid puts in his CD of the same song, it's not scratched)

is that the CD Fender things?

i saw those too. you stick it to the bottom of your CD. they are clear, and can be reused over and over, or taken off with ease if they get scratched, but protect your CD?
