No sound on Disco XT for Mac - any ideas?

I'm trying the demo of Disco XT which I know a few other people are using. It was working fine, and it's still working except that now there's absolutely no sound. Other applications work fine, and the Mac is fine, just no sound from Disco XT. Any ideas please (I'm sure it's something straightforward) :?:

check the volume knobs....there are several.

also check the 10-band EQ, sometimes they default at zero for some reason.

If I remember correctly, the Disco XT demo stops sending sound after something like 15 minutes in a session, and this might be what's happening. Make sure to completely exit Disco XT, not just close the main window (the distinction being the one major part of the Apple UI that I dislike). Then restart Disco XT.

If it's not that, then I'd check all of the following (from memory, so I may be missing something or misnaming it):
1. The output channel assignments under Preferences | Audio
2. The main volume faders for both the playback and preview outputs.
3. The gain knobs on the equalizer section.
4. The pre-amp fader.
5. The per-deck volume faders.
6. The crossover fader.
7. I seem to recall there's some mute buttons in various places as well.
8. The output volume for the system's main output device (i.e. whatever iTunes plays back through)

Unfortunatley there's a heck of a lot of places for things to go wrong on this front.

Thanks guys - I'll try those things (unfortunately, there seems to be no online forum for Disco XT, and their site says 'Please note that we do not provide technical support for the demo version fo Disco XT.')

Is the winner - it was the tiny left-right pre-amp faders at the bottom of the 'Advanced Mixer' view (these are not shown in the 'Basic Mixer' view). Not sure how these got turned down, but anyway - thanks 8)

Here's the scary thing: There really are that many possible controls and ways that things could go wrong except for the mute buttons, which after reviewing the interface once I got home, don't exist.
