Has anyone had to tinker with their Sound settings in control panel in Vista? What do you have them set to when you DJ a social dance ?

On the settings for my speakers, in Sound, I have Room Correction, Loudness Equalization, Bass Boost and Low Frequency Protection checked.

Bass Boost settings are frequency : 80Hz, boost level 6dB.

Levels is set to 67.

Yes, I definitely have no sounds on as the scheme.

I'm seeking guidance/assurance that my settings are ok. I don't think I've made that clear up to now.

I use the equalizer and sound features of BPM Studio for all of that, but I can see where your settings would be useful.

For whatever it's worth, 80Hz is a frequency I often boost to get a little more punch from a kick drum with a live band. So it probably makes sense in a DJ environment as well.
