Thank you so much to everyone who supported our very first Big Big Event! The workshops and dances were amazing, and having people come from across the country was really rewarding for us. We hope everyone who participated had a great time.
We’d also like to thank the following people for helping us make this weekend more awesome than it deserved to be:
Our guest
instructors: Ria DiBiase, Mike Faltesek, Nikki Marvin, and Mikey Pedroza.
The
bands: The Cangelosi Cards & The Boilermaker Jazz Band.
Our
DJ’s: Allen Kerr, Betsy Kipperman, Mike Marcotte, and Glenn Scales.
And our
hosts: Glen Echo Park, The National Park Service, and Jane Ford and her K2 Dance Studio.
And to everyone who volunteered and chipped in at the last minute even when they didn’t have to. Thanks for reminding us of the many generous and dedicated people that are a part of the Lindy Hop community around the country and especially here in DC.
Congratulations to the winners of
