The new album, titled Ain't No School Like the Old School, contains sizzling new instrumental recordings of 16 great old songs from the period 1928-1942, played by a dazzling lineup of first-rate musicians.

The beautiful cover artwork is by my childhood friend, the Canadian comic-book creator Max Douglas (a.k.a Salgood Sam).
