does anybody collect and play english dance bands from the thirties/forties,
ive started playing quite a lot and it seems very popular. nice to have a dance floor swinging away and then doing a social foxtrot or a tango, also very easy to get hold of on vinyl which sounds brill when played at a dance....

Thrown down some names for the kids needing late passes...
Bandleaders, Orchestra, Vocalists, Publishing Labels, Catologue #, etc.
Then, for those (like me) that only have a smattering of English stuff can follow the threads backwards and maybe find some new tasty toones...
