Pete has had a number of years on the scene here in Southern California, yet he never seemed to attain the status among dancers that Bill Elliott, Eddie Reed and Dean Mora did. I was never certain why.

I went to a number of his shows and they were pretty good. He played a lot of choice pops and instrumentals of the era that other 'revival bands' were not playing. His vocalists were OK ( a little cutesy), he played well, seemed friendly, etc. But aside from being one of the PBDA preferred bands, he retained his backburner status with the really devoted Swing dancers hereabouts.

He's got some good CDs.

Just a heads up.
