I'm still looking to find out which band played "Whatever Lola wants" in the Pringles commercial.

The Pringles commerical is "Whatever Lola Wants" by Sarah Vaughn.

Oh, hmm, I guess the Sarah Vaughn "Whatever Lola Wants" was actually from a Levi's ad. I don't know if Pringles used the same version. Sorry.

swing dj denial of membership and Poleroid question resolved

#5 Post by Burnie » Mon Apr 14, 2003 3:33 pm

Hey,
I got a responce from Poleroid.

BTW does anyone know why a dj would be refused access to the SwingDJs group? (I dj at month party's and weekly at my club)

Anyway here is what Poleroid said:
Dear Burnie,

Thank you for you response to the commercial, "Swing" for the new Polaroid One Instant camera. The song is called "Aint got a Thing" and was originally recorded by Duke Ellington. Gabin, a band under Astrakwerks records, re-recorded the music as "Don't mean a thing" which is the version you heard on our commercial. Thank you again for your interest in Polaroid.

Best Regards,

Interesting.

Gabin from bn.com has the track listed as "Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap."
